Jacquin Davidson, Entrepreneur Director
Jacquin Davidson joined BizStarts in May, 2014. She comes to us from Southern California and says one of her entrepreneurial highlights was when Harrison Ford went to fetch coffee for her during a commercial photo shoot! She started at J. Walter Thompson Advertising Agency in Los Angeles, enjoying leadership roles in the Production, Creative and Facilities Departments. From there, she launched a business in the Entertainment Industry working on commercial productions. As an entrepreneur, she grew the business to the top tier of companies in Southern California by providing services to the television commercial production industry and international print media. She worked with many great Hollywood stars. Jacquin launched a second business, Davidson Associates, consulting with nonprofit organizations and small businesses on strategic planning, board and staff development, training and fundraising.
Bill Richards, Director of Business Development
Bill Richards joined BizStarts in January, 2014 to help direct fundraising and business development for BizStarts, as well as serve to help develop entrepreneurs and provide connections where possible. He began his professional career working in various capacities for a group of small, family businesses in Wisconsin and Louisiana, which fostered an entrepreneurial spirit as well as a strategic approach to operations, management, and communications with diverse audiences and constituencies.Most recently, Bill worked with the Donors Forum of Wisconsin, where he served as Director of Membership & Communications. With an eagerness to elevate and further promote Wisconsin’s economic climate and entrepreneurial culture, Bill stands ready to help grow BizStarts’ capacity to help entrepreneurs.
Kathryn Spranger, Operations Manager
Kathryn Spranger joined the BizStarts team in March 2012 as the Administrative Coordinator. After handling social media and the website, coordinating companies for BizStarts staff, and heading up event planning and execution, she was promoted to Operations Manager in January 2014. Prior to joining BizStarts, Kathryn was employed at CATI, Inc. and the UW-Parkside Small Business Development Center (SBDC) building social media, website presence and administrative assistance for entrepreneurial classes and workshops in Racine and Kenosha. She received her MBA from UW-Parkside in 2013 and also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems and Business Administration and a Certification in Entrepreneurship, from UW-Parkside. She is active in Jaycees and can tell you far more about Zumba than just about anyone.
